During the past 24 years of business, we have been servicing the local community, sports fans, pre-theater diners, and loyal customers. It has been a pleasure serving you here at our Biricchino (naughty little boy) and we thank you for your patronage.
Our family has been in the food business, in this country, for over 85 years. We hail from Piemonte, Italy, the province of Biella to be exact. Our parent company was appropriately named Salumeria
Biellese when it was established in 1925. Biricchino’s doors opened in 1987 to highlight the products that are created at Salumeria Biellese so that we could share the cooking traditions of northern Italy, especially Biella.

Here we feature our house-made cured meats that we artisanally craft at Salumeria Biellese. All of our pork products come from 100% all-natural Berkshire or Mangalitsa hogs. Our beef is grass fed and locally sourced, and our chicken is all-natural from local Amish farms. Our vegetables are seasonal and brought to us from some great farms in the garden state of New Jersey. All of the bread we serve is from Sullivan St. Bakery, only a couple of blocks away. We source these ingredients because we believe that they are the most reflective of our family’s convivial traditions.
Benvenuti alla Nostra Famiglia!
Example
of some of the daily selections are:
- Chicken-apple
sausage flavored with cognac
- Duck
with Grand Marnier and orange peel
- Rabbit
and wild mushrooms, and the list goes
on!
Also,
you must try the "Antipasto Biricchino."
This traditional dish will provide you with
an array of salami, sopressata, coppa, prosciutto,
bresaola, and fresh mozzarella. Biricchino specializes
in homemade pastas such as "Malfatti Piemontesi",
a homemade ravioli stuffed with veal, prosciutto
and parmigiano cheese in light vegetable sauce.
There are some wonderful well-executed entrees
to choose from as the menu has something for
everyone. For dessert, you must try the most
remarkable Tiramisu in town made with espresso
laced champagne bisquits layered in mascarpone
mousse.
We
hope you find a pleasant dining experience as
we are happy to serve you. We thank you for
your patronage and look forward seeing you soon. |
